Spring outdoor events and activities are a good way of dealing with stress (March events via vistEngland.com)

It's still lockdown and most events are online but as it's getting warmer and things will be returning to some sort of normality towards mid summer, the website visitEngland.com may have events that are gradually returning to pre-March 2020 but we still have to be aware of the distance regulations and wearing face masks. Reading food labels and understanding what is in our food is helpful but not vital (Do I need to read food labels? bhf.org.uk)

I know a few like the E food codes - yet I have not had any reaction to food I've eaten in the past and now so although it is useful to know what's in our food, it's not vital unless we have a reaction to certain foods and those with gluten. Out of interest I tried the gluten free shop brand digestive biscuits and they are just as nice as normal digestive biscuits. Do I need to read food labels?

Apples are a good source of vitamins and minerals

I like the crunchy variety and because I find myself not eating so much when I've eaten apples but I prefer apple pies which has more calories than a raw apple, which fits in your bag or lunch bag easily and is a fruit that stays as fresh in your bag as in a fridge. Apples and Health

If we have to eat snacks healthy snacks like celery sticks and cream cheese instead of crisps a better option

I'd prefer crisps all the time but they are fattening so snacks like celery sticks and cream cheese are a better option in between meals. Apples, carrot sticks and pineapple and cheese are easier to put together in a small container. Top ten ways to use up leftover celery

(c) nature thoughts nw The clock was right at 10. It didn't falter at 11. It went steadily onwards past midnight 'til it got to 7. The frame stayed in place on the wall. Within poised plants unperplexed, positioned paced, assuming and at peace. The brook gushes as would a blushing novice. (c) nature thoughts nw
