At around 12 mid-day, as if propelled by an invisible hand, she’d turn to face the sun, as it scorched the lavender buds in the tiny city garden that has been her home since a juvenile. She stops nibbling on the apple tree bark and almost stands tall with her tiny front paw to her chest – to greet a plane flying high above altitude towards the Atlantic Ocean, where some of her ancestry roots originated.
